Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform storage work of a hose having a shape retention property and drainage work in the hose simply and easily, to enhance operability when storing the hose, to store the hose in a predetermined position correctly without the hose being stored in a state of being kinked or protruding at the time of hose storage work, and to maintain performance of a fire hydrant.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device is configured by: an openable/closable fire hydrant storage box 1; a fire hydrant valve 2 which is disposed in the fire hydrant storage box 1; a drum-shaped hose storage body 3 which is supported in the fire hydrant storage box 1 in a rotatable manner, which has an opening 3a for pulling out the hose in front, and which includes a hose base end part taking out port 3d on an outer peripheral surface; a hose 5 which has a shape retention property, which is stored in a state of being spirally wound from the outside toward the inside in the hose storage body 3, in which a base end part is connected to the fire hydrant valve 2, and in which a nozzle 4 is connected to a tip end part; and fixing means 6 provided between the fire hydrant storage box 1 and the hose storage body 3, which inhibits the rotation of the hose storage body 3.
