Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014204782
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a face part and improve durability by subjecting an intermediate part to forging with electric heating in a step of manufacturing a golf club by a round bar.SOLUTION: An intermediate part 11 of a round bar material 10 of α+β titanium alloy is forged by heat compression and swelling. Subsequently, a face part 2 is molded by die forging. Thereby, when the face part 2 is frontally viewed from a stroke direction, a plurality of fiber flows 9 are continuously formed in a direction of connecting the ends a toe part 5 and a heel part 6, and concurrently a plurality of fiber flows 9 at the center of the face part 2 are curved toward a top part 3 and a sole 4 side into a protruding and swelling continuous shape lines in the direction crossing with the direction of connecting the ends of the toe part 5 and the heel part 6.
