To provide a fire preventive construction in a composite sash, which has high fireproofness and in which a resin member is difficult to ignite even in the case of a fire, in the composite sash in which the indoor side of a metal sash is covered with the resin member.

In the composite sash in which a composite framework body in which a resin framework body 6 is disposed on the indoor side of a metal framework body 5 is housed in a composite window frame in which a resin frame body 4 is disposed on the indoor side of a metal frame body 3, a fire-resisting insulating material 8b is interposed between joint surfaces 7a and 7b by holding the molded fire-resisting insulating material 8b approximately adapted to shapes of the joint surfaces 7a and 7b by the metal frame body 3 and the resin frame body 4 while holding the material 8b approximately adapted to the shapes of the joint surfaces 7a and 7b by the metal framework body 5 and the resin framework body 6.
