To provide a fish-gathering lamp apparatus using an LED (light emitting diode) as the light source of the fish-gathering lamp, effectively and efficiently irradiating sea surface and further, taking working environment into consideration, and making it possible to have a good catch suitable to various conditions of fishing places.

This apparatus comprises two or more fish-gathering lamps 2 on both outside of the body 1 of a ship. The fish-gathering lamp 2 comprises an LED unit 3 including a large number of LEDs and a support mechanism 3 for supporting the LED unit 3. The support mechanism 4 comprises an inverted U-shaped support arm 6 rotatively supporting the LED unit 3 by a shaft 5, a pinion 7 and a rack 8 which are driving members, a block shaped moving guide member 9 holding the pinion 7 and the rack 8 and guiding up and down movement of the rack, and a connection member 10 fixed to the ends of the support arm 6 and the rack 8.
