Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the intrusion of an outsider when a door guard is operated.
CONSTITUTION: A base plate 14 on one side and a base plate on the other side are interposed between the fitting member 13 of a door guard on one side and a door 10 and between the fitting member on the other side and the door frame 20 respectively. The respective base plates 14 are fixed to the door or to the door frame by means of internal screws 91, 92. The respective fitting members 13 are fitted to the respective base plates 14 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction, and the respective fitting members and the respective base plates are fixed by means of external screws 93. After the respective fitting members have been assembled, the internal screws 91, 92 of the respective base plates are covered with the respective fitting members. Between both the fitting members 13 and both the base plates 14, stopper means 16, 26 are provided to the lower part or to the upper part in the sliding direction.
