Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an AC/DC arc processing device by shutting off the output of a high voltage DC generating circuit after arc starting, conducting an auxiliary switching circuit and subjecting a main switching circuit to on-off control.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit CL2 emits a command to a gas supply circuit and supplies a shielding gas to the circumference of an electrode when a start switch ST 1 is pushed. This control circuit CL2 commands an operation start to an inverter circuit TR1, on to a transistor TR2 and off to an electromagnetic contactor S 1 and commands output start to the DC high voltage generating circuit HD. The voltage of the circuit HD is blocked by a diode DR3 and the electromagnetic contactor S 1 so as not to be applied on the TR2 and TR3 side and is applied between the electrode 6 and a work 7 to generate a spark discharge. The output of the high voltage DC generating circuit HD is shut off and the auxiliary switching circuit S 1 is conducted and the main switching circuit is subjected to the on-off control in prescribed order after the arc starting. As a result, not only the DC output but the AC output as well are obtd.
