To shorten working time required for inserting a fitting pin and to improve workability for the connecting work of an optical fiber cable by simultaneously inserting plural fitting pins by providing a discharging mechanism for discharging the fitting pins one by one and a deflecting mechanism for changing the direction of discharged fitting pins.

Fitting pins P are dropped from a tray 20 through an orientation slit 31 and loaded in loading holes 41 while being vertically arranged into one line. When a discharge gate 51 is slid in one direction, the lower parts of loading holes 41 are released and the fitting pin P loaded on the lowest stage is discharged downward through a discharge slit 51a. An intermediate gate 55 is slid in the same direction as well and the loading hole 41 is closed above the discharge gate 51. The discharged fitting pins P are put into a circulation hole 61 while being turned laterally, and simultaneously inserted through a pin field nozzle 70 into fitting pin inserting holes 11 of an MT connector after the direction is changed into longitudinal through the process of falling along funnel- shaped side wall surfaces.
