A coupling main body 11 of a fitting 10 is formed into a cylindrical shape in which each end face is opened so as to insert each connecting pipe 20 from each end face. Each of a pair of groove parts 11b for fall-off prevention of a square shape in cross section into which each fall-off prevention ring 13 is fitted and a pair of groove parts for seal into which each water stopping packing 14 is fitted is provided throughout the entire periphery on the inner peripheral surface. The fall-off prevention ring 13 is constituted of a C ring having an inside diameter which is smaller than the outside diameter of the connecting pipe 20 and has an end face 13b extending inward so as to be a right angle or an obtuse angle from an end edge on the outer peripheral surface located at inner depth side in the coupling main body and a tapered surface 13a extending in an inclined state in the shaft center direction on the inner depth side in the coupling main body from the other end edge on the outer peripheral surface.
