Abstract:

To provide a fixing device capable of preventing, when a fixing roller and a fixing belt move toward the same side in a width direction of the fixing belt, the end part of the fixing belt from being destroyed by the power generated by deviation of the fixing belt together with deviation of the fixing roller.

A fixing device 1 includes a deviation prevention member 3 that suppresses movement of a fixing roller 2 in a shaft direction. One end part of the fixing roller 2 in the shaft direction with high hardness is brought into contact with the deviation prevention member 3.
