To provide a fixing device and a fixing structure comprising the fixing device capable of firmly supporting a fixed object with excellent suction force.
The fixing device is mainly composed of a seat part 2, a suction cup part 3 and an engaging part 5. The seat part 2 has flat appearance with a recessed part 12 opened to the side of a contact surface 10 brought into face contact with the surface of the other member 7. The suction cup part 3 is enclosed in the recessed part 12. An outer edge part 21 of the suction cup part 3 is normally projected outward from the contact surface 10, but when the fixing device 1 is suction-attached to the other member 7, the whole suction surface 20 becomes almost flush with the contact surface 10. At this time, the whole opening of the recessed part 12 is closed with the suction part 3 to prevent air from going in and out. The fixing device 1 is thereby prevented from a lowering of suction force or a fall caused by expansion/contraction of air.
