Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fixing method of a wire rope having high safety and enabling easy connection of fittings, etc., and provide a wire rope fixing tool to be used in the fixing method.
CONSTITUTION: A wire rope 17 is inserted into a cylindrical fitting 10 having an inner diameter D1 slightly larger than the outer diameter D2 of the wire rope 17 and provided with one or two lateral holes 11, 12 opened at different positions. Pins 14, 15 are driven into the lateral holes 11, 12 and passed through the wire rope 17.
