Abstract:

To energize a small current and constant-voltage output in the time of generating a flash and to energize a large current output in the time of generating short circuit in a flash process and in the time of an upset process.

A 1st transistor inverter (a 1st INV) 1 outputs a rectangular wave alternating current voltage based on the standard signal of a reference signal generating circuit 5, a 2nd transistor inverter (a 2nd INV) 2 outputs a rectangular wave alternating current voltage with the phase delayed by 90° against the reference signal with a phase delay circuit 6. Then, the voltages of different phases by 90° with the 1st and 2nd welding transformers 3, 4 are impressed on a member 8 to be welded, welding is begun on the member 8 to be welded at a constant impress voltage, when the output current of the 1st INV 1 or the 2nd INV 2 detected with current detectors 7, 9 is more than the set current value showing short circuit, etc., of the member to be welded, the action is stopped, the 2nd INV 2 outputs the rectangular wave alternating current voltage based on the reference signal, the same phase voltages are impressed on the member to be welded from the 1st and 2nd welding transformers and a large current is made to flow to the member to be welded.
