Title:
FLASH LAMP LIGHT EMITTING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05180894
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a flash lamp light emitting circuit which can be applied to 154KV power transmission line having a large short-circuit current value.

CONSTITUTION: A programmable unijunction transistor Q3 is connected to a light emitting circuit formed by connecting a rectifying circuit 3, a capacitor C2 for light emission, a thyristor Q2 for light emitting operation and a flash lamp 4 to a current transformer CT for detecting earth current through a surge absorbing circuit 2. The voltage at the time of operation is applied to the gate of a thyristor Q4 connected to the d.c. side of the rectifying circuit 3 to short- circuit the d.c. side of the rectifying circuit 3 by the thyristor Q4.
