Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flat yarn fabric capable of manifesting high strength properties as a reinforcing base for FRP keeping flat state even when utilizing flat yarns from thick yarns by leading warp which is the flat yarn, to a heddle through a specific process. SOLUTION: The production system unreels warps in the lateral direction from plural bobbins 20a, 20b wound with flat yarn warps Twr, passes the flat yarns one by one, so that the flat faces of the warps touch only the wires 21b, 21b of a comb 21 to parallels in a desired density. Winding the warps on two guide bars 22a, 22a of a horizontal guide 22 in S shape setting so that the flat faces of the warps twisted 90 deg. between the horizontal guide 22 and the comb 21, leading to a heddle 22 set for each warp, they are inweaved into the weft Twf sent from a weft supplying system.
