Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible circuit board fitting structure and fitting method that make it possible to easily and securely fit a flexible circuit board on a base.SOLUTION: An engaging protrusion 23 of a base 10 is inserted into an engaging hole 33 provided on a flexible circuit board 30 mounted on the base 10; a locking claw 17 of the base 10 is locked at a cover 50 put on the flexible circuit board 30. The engaging hole 33 on the flexible circuit board 30 is, then, covered with the cover 50. At this time, positioning between the base 10 and the cover 50 is performed by inserting a positioning part 25 provided on the base 10 into a positioning part locking part 51 provided on the cover 50. The base 10's surface on which the flexible circuit board 30 is to be mounted is bent (a top surface 11 and front surface 13); the flexible circuit board 30 is bent and fitted so as to be along the bent surface. The cover 50's surface on the side to be in contact with the flexible circuit board 30 is also bent so as to fit the base 10's bent surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
