Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance a weight to strength ratio of a chain by linking and coupling each loop in which a core part of nonmetal strand wound endlessly to a prescribed loop dimension is surrounded within a flexible outside casing in a non-fixed state. CONSTITUTION: A core 22 is composed by endlessly winding strand 24 made of synthetic resin materials of high tensile strength to weight such as polyester and nylon via a pin 50 erected on a side, being wound on sprockets 30, 32 through a link chain 34 and rotating, within a loop 7. Next, the surroundings of this core 22 are wrapped with a sheath 26 made of weight canvas or woven fabrics such as polyester and nylon, are stitched 28 and are link-coupled with each other as loops 7. This link coupling is repeated and a link-shaped loop lifting chain of a prescribed length is formed. Thus, a weight to strength ratio of the chain can be improved.
