To provide a flexible supporting and guide apparatus for cables which can prevent flexure or twisting of the holding and moving belt of cable at the horizontal portion thereof when cables are supported and guided, and can also regulate generation of flexure or twisting of the cable even when the moving stroke is large.
This flexible support and guide apparatus 1 for cables has a structure that the holding and moving belt 4 of the cable 8 is extended over a pair of pulleys 2 axially supported at both ends of a joint rod 3. The holding and moving belt 4 of the cable is loaded with a pair of flexible pipes 7 at the surface of a loop type belt 6. Consequently, one butting portion wherein the end portions 7A of the flexible pipe are butting forms a moving end, while the other butting portion forms a fixing end 12. As a result, the cable can be guided from each end portion.
