To improve a heat transfer efficiency by devising a structure of a nozzle of a heat treating unit while floating a cloth or other sheet material, thereby stably feeding the material.
The floating nozzle unit for a sheet material comprises a block 5 having nozzles 4 for heat treating a sheet material (c) while floating with a hot air blown from the nozzles 4 arranged in a zigzag state in a transfer direction of the material (c) vertically at a transfer passage of the material (c) in such a manner that its longitudinal surface is formed in a circular arc state along a width direction of the material (c), and an air outlet 8 provided between plate pieces 7 via a spacer 6 longitudinally of the block 5. Ends of the pieces 7 are formed in a circular arc-like surface bent to the block 5 side. End sides of the pieces 7 are formed in a circular arc state bent along the longitudinal circular arc surface of the block 5. And, a positive pressure part operating at the material (c) blown from the nozzles 4 is widened to enhance its heat transfer efficiency.
