The vibration treating apparatus comprises a cylindrical treating container 12 introduced with a material of powder particle or to be treated to become powder particle after the introduction and disposed on an elastic member so that an axis L becomes substantially horizontal, and an oscillator (driving means) 16 for giving a vibration to the container 12. In this case, the container 12 has a truncated conical shape having at least one treated material discharge port 44 substantially directly under the axis L and a material-to-be- treated discharge port 44 at its large diameter side.
