Title:
FLOATING TYPE A/D CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3304826
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type A/D converter stable in frequency characteristics.
SOLUTION: An analog signal is amplified at a gain of 'A' and of the unity by amplifiers 11, 12 respectively, the amplified signal is fed to A/D converters 21, 22 each comprising a ΔΣ modulator and a decimation filter. A DSP 3 amplifies an output signal of the A/D converter 21 by a multiple of 1/A and provides an output of the result. A delay device 61 delays an output signal of the DSP 3 and a delay device 62 delays an output signal of the A/D converter 22 by a delay time the same as that of the decimation filter. A changeover device 51 selects an output signal of the delay device 61 when the output signal, of the DSP 3 is clipped or an output signal of the delay device 62 when the output signal of the DSP 3 is clipped based on a monitor result by a changeover detector 4.
