To provide a floor structure for an automobile, capable of lowering the height of a floor panel, while securing impact absorbing performance in case of rear-end collision, and facilitating putting in and out luggage.
The floor panel 5 is disposed on a right and a left side members 2 extended in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and comprising front member parts 16 and rear member parts 17 provided continuously with the front member parts, and bent upward, and a lower side part for a back door opening 1a is formed to extend in the car width direction at the right and the left rear member parts 17 in this floor structure for an automobile. The floor panel 5 is formed continuously to be flat from a front floor panel 5a to a rear floor panel 5b. The front floor panel 5a is disposed on upper surfaces of the front member parts 16, and the rear floor panel 5b is disposed on lower surfaces of the rear member parts 17. A lower back 13 is disposed on the lower surface of the rear floor panel 5b.
