Abstract:
To provide a flow rate measuring device with which it is possible to reduce measurement errors.SOLUTION: A straight tube type gas meter comprises: a gas inflow port 11 for introducing as gas and formed on a meter body 10, and a gas outflow port 12 for discharging a gas; a gas passage 13 extending from the gas inflow port 11 to the gas outflow port 12 in substantially a prescribed direction; a flow velocity sensor 4 for measuring the flow rate of a gas flowing in the gas passage 13; and a cutoff valve 5 for cutting off the gas passage 13 upstream of the flow velocity sensor 4. The gas passage 13 includes a bent part BP at a point between the gas inflow port 11 to the gas outflow port 12 extending in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the meter body 10 and provided with a cutoff valve 5, a passage sectional area SA1 of the bent part BP that is downstream of the cutoff valve 5 being greater than or equal to the sectional area SA2 of a multilayer unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
