Abstract:
To provide a piping blocking jig and a piping blocking method using the jig, each of which allows for assured blocking of cut piping in which a combustible matter is accumulated or piping passage of second piping connected to first piping in which the combustible matter is accumulated, using the low-cost piping blocking jig with simple structure.SOLUTION: A member 10 for blocking piping comprises a disc-shaped body 11 inserted into a piping passage 1a, 52a from a cut opening 1c, 52b of cut first piping 1 or second piping 52, and a seal member 12 fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the body 11 and coming in close contact with an inner circumferential surface 1d, 52c of the first piping 1 or the second piping 52 to block the piping passage 1a, 52a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
