Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable fluid dynamic pressure bearing and a motor with the same.
The fluid dynamic pressure bearing 30 has a sleeve 32 having a through hole 41, a shaft 13 arranged in the through hole 41 and rotatable to the sleeve 32, a thrust cover 33 covering the lower end of the through hole 41 and fixed to the sleeve 32, and a thrust plate 34 arranged between the thrust cover 33 and the lower end of the shaft 13 and coming into contact with the shaft 13. The thrust plate 34 includes an upper surface 34a facing the shaft 13 side and coming into contact with the sleeve 32.
