Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide excellent damping performance relative with low frequency and high frequency vibration, by installing a moving member which controls intercommunication and disconnection between at least one of a plurality of fluid chambers formed in an elastic body and a communicating passage for intercommunicating a plurality of the fluid chambers. CONSTITUTION:A fluid-filled bush is formed such that an annular rubber sleeve 6 is vulcanized and adhered between a cylindrical inner cylinder metal 2 and a cylindrical outer cylinder metal 4 concentrically located at a given distance outside the inner cylinder metal, and a pair of fluid chambers 8 and 10, positioned radially opposite to each other, are formed in the rubber sleeve 6. In which case, a securing plate 12 formed in the shape of a flat cylinder with a bottom is secured to the end surface on the opening side of the fluid chamber of the rubber sleeve 6, and a spacer plate 18, having circular arc-shaped windows 20 and 22, and a grooved plate 24 are contained in the inner surface of the securing plate 12 to which a thin rubber layer 16 is adhered. Further, circular arc- shaped moving pieces 30, each of which has a communicating hole 32 and can close a through-hole 14, are floatably contained in said window ports 20 and 22 to achieve a desired purpose.
