The fluid filled vibration absorbing device 1 comprises the movable diaphragm 100 stored in an intermediate chamber 203, and a movable diaphragm holding member 110 holding the movable diaphragm 100. The movable diaphragm 100 has a peripheral protrusion 102 protruded on the outer peripheral edge in the cross direction of the diaphragm. The movable diaphragm holding member 110 consists of a through-hole 112, a flat portion 111 located outward in the radial direction of the through-hole 112 for abutting on the front end protruded face of the peripheral protrusion 102 of the movable diaphragm 100, and an engaging protrusion 114 formed as part of the radially outward edge of the through-hole 112 and protruded from the flat portion 111 for engaging with the inner periphery of the peripheral protrusion 102 of the movable diaphragm 100.
