Abstract:
To provide a fluid transmission device with a lock-up clutch capable of suppressing eccentric a hit and a drag on a facing surface.
The fluid transmission device 1 with the lock-up clutch comprises a front cover 4, an impeller shell 6, a pump impeller 8, a turbine liner 12, a turbine shell 14, and the lock-up clutch 30. The lock-up clutch has a driven plate 46, a pair of driving plates 52, a lock-up piston 32, and a fastening hydraulic chamber 40. The driving plate on the lock-up piston side out of the pair of driving plates is formed movable relative to the thrust part of the lock-up piston so that thrust toward the lock-up piston side works during the non-fastening of the lock-up clutch.
