The piezoelectric drive mechanism 10 comprises a case 2 and a drive mechanism body 11. The drive mechanism body 11 has first and second piezoelectric elements 17, 18, a first displacement increasing mechanism for increasing the displacement of the piezoelectric element 17, an abutting part moved perpendicularly to the elongating direction of the piezoelectric element 17 by the first displacement increasing mechanism for abutting on the inner face of the case, and a second displacement increasing mechanism for increasing the displacement of the piezoelectric element 18 to move the driven body. When a voltage applied to the piezoelectric element 17, the abutting part abuts on the inner face of the case via the first displacement increasing mechanism and the drive mechanism body 11 is stopped non-movably relative to the case 2. When a voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element 18, the second displacement increasing mechanism is displaced to move the driven body.
