PURPOSE: To shorten a size in an axial direction by arraying a tourus, a damper and a turbine hub in sequence on the outer periphery side in a radial direction and spline-connecting both of the driven plate of the dumper and the turbine hub.
CONSTITUTION: A tourus 17, a damper 51 and a turbine hub 9 are arrayed from the outer periphery side to the inner periphery side in a radial direction, and the tourus 17 and the damper 51 are arranged at a position where they are overlapped in an axial direction. The driven plate 51 of the damper 51 and the turbine hub 9 are spline-connected, the connection portion of which is arranged on the outside in a radial direction of a seal portion between a lockup clutch piston 57 and the turbine hub 9 to allow the independent movement of the lockup clutch piston 57 to a turbine 16 and an axial direction. It is thus possible to shorten a size in an axial direction and improve the engagement efficiency of a lockup clutch, resulting in a longer life of the turbine without suffering from the shock of the lockup clutch piston.
