Title:
FLUORESCENT SUBSTANCE PARTICLE AND FLUORESCENT LAMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3779409
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fluorescent substance particles enabling to provide three wavelength fluorescent lamps high in luminous efficiency, little in color irregularity and little in the changes of color during the lighting of the fluorescent lamps by adhering SiO2 powder to the particle surfaces of the specific aluminate salt blue color fluorescent substance.
SOLUTION: The fluorescent substance particles are obtained by adhering SiO2 powder having a particle diameter of 1-500nm preferably in an amount of 0.01-1.0 pt.wt. (per 100 pts.wt. of fluorescent substance particles) to the surfaces of blue color light-emitting fluorescent substance particles having light-emitting peak wavelengths of 440-460nm and represented by molecular formula I or II [(a), (b) are each a positive number, and satisfy the inequality: 2≤(b)/(a)≤3], such as 3(Ba, Mg, Eu)O.8Al2O3 or 3(Ba, Mg, Eu, Mu)O.8Al2O3. After the adhesion of the SiO2 powder, the fluorescent particles are preferably thermally treated at a temperature of ≥800°C in a reducing atmosphere. The fluorescent substance particles are preferably used together with a green color light-emitting fluorescent substance having at least emitted light peak wavelengths of 530-550nm and a red color light-emitting fluorescent substance having emitted light peak wavelengths of 600-620nm to produce a fluorescent lamp.
