PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound useful as an intermediate raw material for silicone modification for improving chemical resistance, weather resistance and surfactant characteristic, etc., of silicone or reducing refractive index of silicone by reacting a specific fluorine-containing allylamine with a fluorine- containing carboxylic acid halide.
CONSTITUTION: This compound of formula I [Rf1 and Rf2 are each a perfluoroalkyl or a 5-15C perfluoroalkyl ether; (n) is 1-5] is obtained by reacting (A) a fluorine-containing allylamine of formula II with (B) a fluorocarboxylic acid halide of the formula Rf1COX (X is a halogen). Furthermore, the reaction is preferably carried out e.g. in an amount of the component B of about 0.8-1.0mol based on 1mol of the component A at room temperature to 100°C for about 1-20hr in a reactional solvent such as toluene.
