Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the antistaining processing agent having excellent water repellency, oil repellency and stain resistance which have not been obtained, and especially useful for carpets
CONSTITUTION: The antistaining processing agent contains a fluorine-containing copolymer having (A) at least one kind of repeating units derived from one or more monomers selected from a group consisting of an OH-containing and fluorine-containing maleate of formula I (Rf is 3-21C perfluoroalkyl), an OH- containing and fluorine-containing fumarate of formula II, a fluorine-containing maleate of formula III [A is 1-4C alkylene, group of formula IV (R1 is 1-4C alkyl; R2 is 1-4C alkylene)], and a fluorine-containing maleate of formula V, and (B) at least one kind of repeating units derived from a 1-6C alkyl (meth) acrylate, and, if necessary, (C) repeating units derived from styrene. The preferable weight ratio of the monomer A to B is (70-40)/30-70), when the styrene is not contained, and when the styrene is contained the preferable weight ratio, A/B/C is (65-30)/(30-65)/(1-35).
