Title:
FLUOROCARBON GAS DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3497918
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a fluorocarbon gas detector that detects the fluorocarbon gas leakage places of a refrigerator and refrigerant piping without peeling off protecting material and heat insulating material wound around the refrigera tor and refrigerant piping.
CONSTITUTION: In a fluorocarbon gas detector, LP gas, for instance, is filled in a cylinder 7, and a combustion cylinder 1 is connected to the upper end of the cylinder 7 through a valve 6. The LP gas in the cylinder 7 is jetted from a nozzle 4, provided in the combustion cylinder 1, through the valve 6 and ignited through an ignition opening 3 so as to set a flame 3a. The upper end of the combustion cylinder 1 is provided with an opening part, and an intake pipe 5 for introducing gas, sucked from the tip, into the combustion cylinder 1 is connected to the combustion cylinder 1. A needle-like intake small- diameter tube 8 is connected to the tip of the intake pipe 5. The intake small- diameter tube 8 is of double tube structure, and an intake hole 8a is formed at the center of an inner tube, while a plurarity of intake holes 8b are formed at the peripheral surface of an outer tube.
