Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pressure cut off sensor capable of surely stopping use of a storage battery in which inside pressure is abnormally increased and ensuring safety by installing specified constitution.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure cut off sensor has housings 2, 3 whose one part is opened, a pressing member 8 which plugs an opening part 3c of the housings 2, 3, and deforms by pressure, and a breaking member 4 which is housed in the housings 2, 3, has a conducting path, and breaks the conducting path when the pressure applied with the pressing member 8 exceeds a specified value, and in addition has a pair of connecting members 5 connected to the conducting path and having conductivity, a pair of terminals connected to the connecting member 5 inside the housings 2, 3, and insert-formed in the housings 2, 3, and the housings 2, 3 have a recess 2f reaching the terminal back surface of a joint part of the connecting member 5 and the terminal.
