Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing method by type 5LSA (Link State Advertisement) separation set of OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocol.
SOLUTION: All LSA created in network devices are separated into an S set by mapping in advance. At first, only one set of LSA is flushed. Next, other sets are flushed in order in a predetermined flushing interval. This method reduces instantaneous effect to network traffic by the LSA and keeps low load level of the network. Furthermore, this method flushes all LSAs at once in an respective network flush interval, and guarantees that the OSPF protocol is performed normally.
