Title:
FLUX CORED WIRE FOR WELDING DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010188387
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a flux cored wire for welding duplex stainless steel that is used for welding of duplex stainless steel, that provides deposited metal property having high strength comparable to a base metal, and that has excellent defect resistance against blowholes and the like as well as having superior toughness and corrosion resistance, and satisfactory weldability.

The flux-cored wire for welding duplex stainless steel has the flux filled inside the stainless steel sheath and is characterized in that it contains, in mass% in the total mass of the wire, in total in the stainless steel sheath and the flux: ≤0.06% C, 0.1-1.0% Si, 0.5-3.0% Mn, 7-11% Ni, 21-25% Cr, 0.01-1% Mo, and 0.08-0.3% N, with the balance consisting of Fe part of the stainless steel sheath, Fe part of iron alloy, metal oxide, metal fluoride, and inevitable impurities.
