Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fly ash recycling treatment for highly efficiently recovering lead and zinc contained in fly ashes and recovering valuable materials other than lead and zinc with high purity and at high yield without discharging wastes.
SOLUTION: This recycling method comprises the steps of recovering zinc as zinc-insolbilized residue by extracting zinc from fly ashes by adding sulfuric acid to the fly ashes, effecting solid-liquid separation adding a pH adjusting agent and a sulfurizing chemical to the obtained zinc-extracted solution then effecting solid-liquid separation and recovering salts as solid salts by removing impurities in the zinc-insobilized filtrate obtained in the preceding step and effecting evaporation and condensation and at the same time recovering water by condensing evaporated steam.
