Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fly waste-removing apparatus in a doffer roll capable of removing the fly waste adhered on the doffer roll without depehding on a manual, operation and interrupting an opening work.
SOLUTION: This fly waste-removing apparatus is composed of a scraping brush 10 for scraping off the fly waste adhered on the doffer roll 1 by contacting a doffer roll 1 while rotating, a scraping brush-moving apparatus 20 for moving the scraping brush 10 between a scraping position where the brush contacts the doffer roll 1 and a cleaning position apart from the doffer roll 1 and a cleaning apparatus 30 for cleaning, under suction, the matter adhered on the surface of the scraping brush 10.
