Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fatigue strength while the number of parts is reduced.
SOLUTION: A flywheel device reduces the flexural vibration, and comprises a mass part 1, a fitting flange part 2, and a plate part 3 capable of elastic deformation to permit the mutual bending displacement between the mass part 1 and the fliting flange part 2, and is integratedly formed by the casting using a core so as to have a cavity 7 which is open only in the direction of the center of rotation. In the plate part 3, an annular recessed part 8 is formed on a surface B of the cavity side located closer to the inner circumferential side from the mass part 1 around the axis of rotation by machining and removing a casting surface of the plate part 3 over the whole circumference. The flywheel device is tightened at the fitting flange part to an end face of a crank shaft 6 of an internal combustion engine by bolts 5.
