This foaming solid lubricant sealed universal joint is constituted in such a manner that rotating torque is transmitted by the engagement of track grooves 4, 5 formed at an outer member 2 and an inner member 3 and a torque transmitting member 6, the torque transmitting member 6 moves in the axial direction by rolling along the track grooves 4, 5 and the foaming solid lubricant 10 is sealed in the joint. The foaming solid lubricant 10 is produced by foaming and hardening a mixture including a lubricating component, liquid rubber having a hydroxyl group in molecules, a hardening agent and a foaming agent.
