Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a foamy hair-care cosmetic excellent in foam properties, e.g. swelling of foams, fineness and stability and having an excellent effect for imparting a touch excellent in gentleness, smoothness, non-sticky properties, etc., to hairs.
CONSTITUTION: This foamy hair-care cosmetic contains (A) a cationized cellulose of the formula [R is a 6 to 22C straight or branched chain alkyl or alkenyl; Cel-CH2O-is a hydroxyethyl cellulose residue; (x) is 0 or an integer of ≤the total number of CH2OH contained in hydroxyethyl cellulose; (y) is 1 or an integer of 4the above-mentioned total number of CH2OH], (B) an oil agent such as a hydrocarbon, a glyceride, a wax, a higher alcohol, an ester and a higher fatty acid and (C) a propellant such as propane, dimethyl ether or carbon dioxide gas in a ratio of A=0.01 to 5wt.%, B: 0.1 to 80wt.% and C: 0.01 to 50wt.%. This cosmetic keeps the excellent foaming properties without reducing the effect and does not make hairs sticky even in the case the oil agent is contained abundantly enough to impart an excellent touch to hairs.
