Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically assemble a folding container consisting of an upper frame, spring-up side walls and a bottom by hanging, on the upper frame, a tongue having a protrusion on its outside face and forming an engaging piece which can engage with the protrusion in a receiving section arranged at the bottom.
CONSTITUTION: When a container C is to be assembled from a folding state of the folding container C wherein an upper frame 1 and a bottom 3 abut against each other and a protrusion protruded to a bottom end of a tongue 1c is engaged with an engaging piece formed in a through hole (receiving section) of the bottom 3, the tongue 1c is pressed in the inside direction of the container C against the resilience of the tongue 1c by a worker or an automatic assembling device. Thus, the engagement of the protrusion of the tongue 1c with the engaging piece of the through hole 3b is released. Thereafter, the upper frame 1 is raised so as to rotate spring-up side walls 2a and 2b in the vertical direction, and split side walls 2c and 2d are extended so as to assemble the folding container C.
