Title:
MANUFACTURE OF THERMAL PRINTING HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3121108
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable time required for curing an adhesive to be shortened without bringing about decrease of its bonding strength when a head substrate in a thermal printing head is bonded to a heat slinger with the adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A cermic-made head substrate 1 quipped with a heating element 2 is stuck to a metallic heat slinger 3 by using an adhesive A having an anaerobic setting property by intercepting contact with air and to cure when the adhesive comes in contact with the metal. Besides, an adhesive B having an ultraviolet curing property being likely to be cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays is applied between a side surface of the head substrate 1 and the heat slinger 3 and that part is irradiated with ultraviolet rays.
