Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a portable communication terminal which can be folded with a display surface facing outward.
SOLUTION: The folding type portable communication terminal is provided with a thin operating case 1 on which an operating surface is formed, a thin display case 2 on which a display surface is formed, and a movable coupling portion 3 for coupling the operating case 1 with the display case 2. The terminal can shift between a usual opening state in which both the cases 1, 2 are opened while the operating surface and the display surface face in the same direction and a reverse closed state in which the main surfaces of both the cases face with each other to fold the terminal with the display surface face the inside. The terminal is provided with a main multiple function key 14 provided in the operating surface and capable of two or more operating inputs depending on a pressing portion, and a side multiple function key 26 provided on the end surface of the operating case 1 and capable of performing the same operating input by performing the same operation as that of the key 14.
