PURPOSE: To remarkably shorten the starting time and to effectively use a heat insulating apparatus for delivering food by combining a food storing portion and a vapor generating portion and using an evaporation pot like a flat container in the vapor generating portion.

CONSTITUTION: A food heat insulating apparatus is formed by combining a food storing portion 10 and a vapor generating portion 20 in a body. An evaporation pot 22 is mounted on the central portion of a partition 21a, and heat source device 23 is disposed under the evaporation pot 22. When a switch valve 22c is opened through an operating lever 21c, water in a water tank 13 is drip-fed in the evaporation pot 22. As the bottom portion of the evaporation pot 22 is heated enough by heat from the heat source 23, poured water evaporates instantaneously. When the opening of the switch valve 22c is controlled and set to equalize the filling amount of water to the evaporation pot 22 and the evaporation amount, vapor can be jetted continuously from an exhaust nozzle 22b. Furthermore, the vapor exhaust nozzle 22b is throttled to be smaller to blow out the vapor forcibly.
