Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food washer which can sufficiently wash foods such as vegetables with water containing ozone.
SOLUTION: An ozon water-washing tank 2, a pre-treating tank 3 and a post-treating tank 4 are disposed in this food washer 1. The ozon water 2a supplied from a gas-liquid mixer 8 is stored in the ozon water-washing tank 2. Ozon water 3a is stored in the pre-treating tank 3. Water 4a is stored in the post-treating tank 4. A cover 7 is disposed to cover the whole of the ozon water-washing tank 2, a part of the pre-treating tank 3 and a part of the post- treating tank 4. A side wall portion 7a disposed to be soaked in the ozon water 3a and a side wall portion 7b disposed to be soaked in the water 4a are disposed on the cover 7. A region 12 facing the ozon water 2a is sealed with the ozon water 3a of the pre-treating tank 3 and with the water 4a of the post-treating tank 4.
