Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lower plate for PDP which easily forms partition walls with a high aspect ratio, prevents an air layer from being formed between a green sheet and a substrate, and can prevent generation of a crack between the partition walls.
SOLUTION: A first green sheet 60A containing organic matter and a second green sheet 60B containing more organic matter than the first green sheet 60A are laminated in turn on a metal substrate 62 and bonded, and, after an electrode 64 is formed on the second green sheet 60B and an electrode protection layer 66 is formed on the second green sheet 60B, the substrate 62 with the first green sheet 60A and the second green sheet 60B bonded together on it is pressurized to form a partition wall 8, and, thus, a lower plate of a PDP is manufactured. It is a display material with a center-line average roughness (Ra) in length direction of a partition wall crowning of 0.05 to 0.30 μm or with a center-line average roughness in length direction of the partition wall crowning and its side face within the range of 0.05 to 0.30 μmμ. Further, it is a photosensitive paste either containing a photosensitive organic component and a compound with average molecular weight of 200 to 7,000 at least having one filler or with average particle size of 0.003 to 0.1 μm a carboxyl group or containing 1 to 15 weight percent of a photosensitive organic compound at least containing urethane compound, inorganic particles, and a coupling agent.
