The footwear hanging tool is provided with a main body 7 having an approximately L-shape in a side view and consisting of a vertically placing part 5 for placing and supporting the soles of a pair of the right and left footwear 1 and 1 with each of heels turning downward in the state that the hanging tool is hung by a hanging part 4 upward protrusively provided on the placing part 5 and a support part 6 extending from a lower end of the placing part 5 in an approximately horizontal direction and abuting on and supporting the heels of the footwear 1 and 1 and a retaining member 8 for pressing parts of toe sides of the footwear 1 and 1 placed on the main body 7 to a placing face side from above to retain the footwear 1 and 1 on the placing part 5.
