Abstract:
To obtain a form rolling machine which can improve workability of a workpiece and a manufacturing method of a shaft.
In the form rolling machine 10, when a taper ring 168 attached on the peripheral part of a main body 162 of a plain die 160 is slid in the axial direction of the main body 162 by adjusting screws 172, a control part 180, which is fitted to the outside of the taper ring 168, is deformed by an tilted outer peripheral face 168A of the taper ring 168 so that its two circumferential ends come close or apart, consequently decreasing or increasing the outer diameter of the control part 180.
