PURPOSE: To realize faithful formation into even a shape of a high formation rate and improve the qualities of shape retention and restoration after thermal formation by conducting the lamination of non-woven cloth containing thermoplastic fiber and a continuous bubbling resin foaming body.
CONSTITUTION: At a formation mask 1, non-woven cloth 4 containing thermoplastic fiber and a continuous bubbling resin foaming body 5 are stuck to each other in a ventilated state. A laminated body is obtained by joining together the needle punch non-woven cloth 4 and the polyurethane foaming body 5 of continuous bubbling by means of frame laminate. After the heating of the laminated body, cold press is conducted by means of a mold, and a bowllike solid shape to cover a mouth and nostrils is formed. In addition, melt blow non-woven cloth 7 and water current non- woven cloth 8 are layered in order on the non-woven cloth surface 4 as a filter material 6, and the formation mask 1 is obtained by conducting the supersonic wave seal of the periphery. The formation mask 1 changes its shape by outer force but when the outer force is removed, it can be restored easily to the former formation shape, and as the feeling of contact with a face is soft and the quality of sticking closely is high, the mask 1 is suitable for a dustproof mask, and is excellent in the quality of shape retention.
